How can we package tedious investment principles in a way that youths will want to engage with it?
Create a zombie game that highlights difficult choices in the investment process.
When GIC approached us to design an infographic on investment principles behind our sovereign fund, targeting youths, we knew that there was a better way to capture the attention of tech-savvy 15 to 18-year-olds. With that, we used actual investment principles to craft an online zombie role-play game in a post-apocalyptic setting. The unique experiential game reached over 21,000 youths.
Gamification
A game designed to challenge players to navigate through a dangerous city to arrive at their destination: a safehouse. To do so, players make various choices and trade-offs in the course of the game.
Players participate in a real-life simulation game that leads them through challenges where they would have to complete to earn resources for their team’s survival.
Collateral design
We designed a Survivor’s Guide collateral for youths to take home and continue their learning about the relevance of key investment principles to their lives.
